Carnies Licence

01The short version

Personal and Commercial licences both let you use and modify the files. They differ in who you can use them for:

• Personal: use it in your own projects. No client work, and not inside a product you sell.
• Commercial: everything in Personal, plus client projects (unlimited clients, one licence per developer or designer) and products you sell, such as a SaaS, app, or website.
• Neither licence lets you resell, share, or redistribute the files as-is, or sell them as your own template, kit, or pack, even modified.
• Using the illustrations as the main thing you sell (prints, stickers, merch, stock) needs an Extended licence. Get in touch and we'll set it up.

02Definitions

• “Product”: any file you download from carnies.dev (code, illustrations, templates, Figma, Notion, Canva).
• “You”: the person or company that purchased the Product.
• “Carnies”: Carnies Online Seller, a Sole Establishment registered in Dubai, UAE, under DET E-Trader Licence No. 1626932.

03What you can do

• Use the Product to build websites, apps, and designs for yourself (Personal) or for yourself and your clients (Commercial).
• Modify the Product freely for those projects.
• Keep the Product's source files after purchase, including future updates released for it.

04What you cannot do

• Resell, sublicense, share, upload, or give away the Product or any part of it as a standalone item, including on marketplaces, public GitHub repositories, or template sites.
• Present the Product's design or illustrations as your own work in a portfolio or marketplace listing.
• Use the illustrations as the main value of something you sell (prints, stickers, merch, stock images, NFTs). Ask us about an Extended licence.
• Use the Product to train AI models.

05Seats

One licence covers one person. Teams need one licence for each person who uses the files.

06Ownership

Carnies keeps the copyright. You get the right to use the Product, not ownership of it.

07Updates and support

Purchases include lifetime updates for that product. Support is by email at [email protected], and we reply within 2 business days.

08Refunds

Because these are digital downloads, refunds are limited. The full rules, including defective products and accidental duplicate purchases, are set out in our Refund Policy.

09Warranty

The Product is provided “as is”. Carnies is not liable for losses from its use, up to the amount you paid. Nothing here limits any statutory consumer right you have under UAE law.

10Governing law and contact
